Some people have a way of lighting up a room. Caroleen Teboul ’15 is one of those people. If you know her sister Natalie Teboul’10, it will not surprise you whata chipper, talented and dedicated individual this current freshman is. Teboul feelsthat the freshman class “has a lot of athletes and talented people,” but ultimately, she is the epitome of talented.
Teboul figure skates competitively five to six times a week and has been dancing at A Dance Studio for her entire life, taking tap and jazz classes twice a week. She spends her weekends on the recreational soccer fields and also plays both the bassoon and the clarinet in the high school’s band.
Unfortunately, Teboul will not follow in her sister’s footsteps and join the Force as a senior because she claims she’s “terrible at rhythm,” which of course cannot be true, due to her experience as a tapper.
Besides her perpetual positivity and vitality, Teboulis mature and dedicated to helping the community. This year, Teboul is starting a new club,Skate Club, with her friend Olivia Dansky ’15. Theywill have a couple of performances this year featuring a large numberof skaters and plan to donate the proceeds of the events to an undecided charity.
Teboul also unsurprisingly excels in her academics; her favorite subjects include Global History and Biology. Ultimately, Teboul is an exceptional addition to the MHS community. The next time she enters the room, be prepared to feel a warm glow.
